DC MOTOR HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT

We design and manufacture advanced Direct Current (DC) motor hydraulic power units, engineered to deliver reliable, efficient hydraulic power in mobile, remote, or off-grid applications where AC mains are unavailable or impractical. Our DC hydraulic power units are precision-built for compactness, portability, and robust duty cycles—making them the ideal solution for material handling, vehicle-mounted systems, lifts, emergency equipment, and industrial automation.

What is a DC Motor Hydraulic Power Unit?

A DC motor hydraulic power unit consists of a high-efficiency, low-voltage electric motor (most commonly 12VDC or 24VDC), a hydraulic pump (gear, vane, or piston type), reservoir, control valves, and all relevant hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components, integrated into a compact assembly. Unlike AC-driven systems, DC units offer true independence from fixed electrical infrastructure, enabling operation from batteries, vehicle power, or renewable energy sources.

Key Technical Features

  • DC Electric Motor Options
    • Available in 12V, 24V, and sometimes 48V DC configurations.
    • Power outputs typically range from 0.35 kW up to 2.2 kW per motor, or higher for custom designs.
    • Options for permanent magnet or series wound motors, with CCW/CW rotation as required.
    • Motors are rated for intermittent (S2/S3 duty) with startup surges, optimized for use in automotive, industrial, or mobile equipment.
  • Hydraulic Pump Specifications
    • Gear pumps provide flows from approx. 0.2 to 7.8 cc/rev, supporting typical output flows from 0.3 L/min to 10+ L/min.
    • System pressure capabilities up to 207–300 bar (3,000–4,350 psi), with adjustable relief valves to protect the circuit.
  • Tank and Reservoir
    • Integral or remote reservoirs sized to match required duty cycle and flow—typically 2 to 7.5 liters, but available up to 180 liters for large custom units.
    • Integrated oil filters, breathers/fill caps, and oil level/temperature gauges for clean and reliable operation.
  • Controls & Valves
    • Manual or solenoid-operated directional valves for single/double-acting cylinder operation.
    • Optional remote pendant or wireless control, timed run logic, load holding valves, and proportional flow/pressure control.
  • Electrical Protection & Safety
    • IP54 or higher protection for all electrical components.
    • Overload, over-temperature, and short circuit protection built-in.
    • Suitable for safe vehicle, trailer, or field mounting.
  • Construction & Integration
    • Compact and ruggedized steel, aluminum, or ABS enclosures; corrosion protection as required.
    • Mounting flexibility (base, side, upright) for integration within machinery, vehicles, or mobile power packs.

Manufacturing Process Overview

  1. Application Engineering & Sizing

    • Duty cycle, load, flow, and pressure requirements specified; battery sizing and charge cycle analysis.
    • 3D CAD modeling for space optimization and specification compliance.
  2. Component Sourcing
    • Selection of branded high-torque DC motors, sealed hydraulic pumps, and top-grade valves and electronic control solutions, ensuring safety and lifetime reliability.
  3. Precision Assembly/Integration
    • CNC machining of motor brackets, pump adapters, and tank flanges for warping resistance and alignment.
    • Assembly in cleanroom conditions, with careful torque control, crimped terminals, and full hose/pipeline leak testing.
  4. Functional Testing

    • Hydraulic performance (flow, pressure, response time) is validated under simulated real-world loads.
    • Electrical testing for start/run current, protection trip, and temperature rise.
  5. Final QC & Documentation
    • Units supplied with connection diagrams, safety warnings, duty limits, and performance certification.
